How Gaatly collects, uses and protects your information. Last updated: 18 July 2026.

1. Who we are

Gaatly is a global consumer electronics brand. In the United Arab Emirates, Gaatly products and this website (gaatly.com) are operated under the exclusive distribution of Old Port, Burj Al Nujoom, Downtown Dubai, Dubai, UAE ("Gaatly", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse the site, contact us, subscribe to our emails or place an order.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to serve you:

  • Enquiries and forms — name, email address, phone number, chosen topic and your message when you use our contact form.
  • Newsletter — your email address when you subscribe.
  • Orders — name, phone number, delivery address and order details when you order via WhatsApp or request a quotation.
  • Business customers — company name and VAT details when you request corporate invoicing.
  • Technical data — standard log and device information (browser type, pages visited, approximate location) collected through cookies and analytics, as described in section 5.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
  • To process, deliver and follow up on orders, including warranty and return requests.
  • To issue quotations and VAT invoices for business customers.
  • To send our newsletter and offers — only if you subscribed, and you can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.
  • To comply with legal obligations that apply to us in the UAE.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Sharing & third-party services

We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only what they need:

  • Form processing — website form submissions are transmitted via Web3Forms to reach our inbox.
  • Messaging — conversations on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under its own privacy terms.
  • Delivery — name, phone number and address are shared with delivery partners to fulfil your order.
  • Maps — our contact page embeds Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when loaded.

We may also disclose information where required by UAE law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to make the website function, and analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage (such as which pages are visited and for how long). Analytics data is used in statistical form and is not used to identify you personally. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work with non-essential cookies disabled.

6. Data retention & security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, order records are retained for the duration of the warranty period and any legal record-keeping requirements, and newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration or loss.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable UAE data protection law (including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data), you may request:

  • Access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction of inaccurate information.
  • Deletion of your information where we no longer need it.
  • Withdrawal of consent for marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 10. We will respond within a reasonable period.
